Tuhorse Solar Pump with 190w Solar panles

Most panels on the market produce 250W of power compared to your 190W. Why should we choose 190W?

Because of our Solar Pump specifications, it is optimal to choose 190W solar panels over 250W. In many of our Solar Pump configurations you can achieve the wattage and voltage requirements with a combination of 190W panels without excess.

In greater detail, the optimal wattage required of most pumps is greater than 1.5x the pumps rate power. Our solar panel specifications are:

Open Circuit Voltage Voc: 45V

Maximum Voltage Vmp: 36V

Current: 5.31A

Wattage: 190W

For our range of Solar Pumps this equates too:

210W Solar pump: 210W x 1.5 = 315W required.

2 x 190W panels = 380W

500W Solar pump: 500W x 1.5 = 750W required.

4 x 190W panels = 760W

1000W Solar pump: 1000W x 1.5 = 1500W required.

8 x 190W panels = 1520W

Requirements of the control board are another important factor.

210W and 500W/48V Solar Bore Pump control boards require; Voc less than 100V and Vmp greater than 60V.

210W solar pump with 2 x190w solar panels ( two panels join in serial)

Open circuit voltage Voc: 90V/DC

input voltage Vmp : 72V/DC

Total wattage : 380W

500W/48V solar pump with 4 x 190w solar panels package ( two lots 2 x190w in serial and then parallel)

Open circuit voltage Voc: 90V/DC

input voltage Vmp : 72V/DC

Total wattage: 760W

1000W/110V control boards require; Voc less than 200V and Vmp greater than 130V.

1000W/110V pump with 8 x 190w solar panels package ( two lots four panels in serial then parallel)

Open circuit voltage Voc: 180V/DC

input voltage Vmp : 144V/DC

Total wattage : 1540W

190W solar panels provide the requirements for our solar pumps with space and cost in mind.
