This pump is suitable for 3" or large bore. It also used for pumping water from rivers, dams, creeks and springs and to transfer water from one site to another.
It is easy to install and cost nothing to run after installation.
This helical rotor pumps do not require expensive inverters and batteries to operate, however the controller will allow the use of storage batteries if required
Recommended to use either 2 or 4 solar panels.

Good product.
Installed pump and was impressed with performance. Was very cold and I have pipe laying on top of the ground, found that early morning Polly pipe was blocked due to ice so installed a thermostat at ground level and set to 6 deg and wired into the full tank input this solved the problem below 6 deg pump will not run. Also liked the wide MPPT Dc voltage this allowed me to use my own solar panels.

3" 500W solar pump and controller - works great
This is the second 3" solar pump I've bought from Tuhorse. The first 3" 200W unit has been pumping from a dam to a tank on a hill about 300 meters away and 30 meters of lift - over 3 years with no problems. This 3" 500W unit is pumping to the same tank but from 45m below ground level, then another 15M of head. I have 520W (80V x ~ 6.5A) of solar panels on it and the pump is doing a great job - more water than I need.

Easy setup and works well
I am pumping from a dam up to a tank with a 30m head and 300m of 50mm poly. I used a single 250W 48v solar panel and on a reasonable day, I get about 2200l of water - more than I need. The controller works well and it continues to pump in cloudy conditions. Beats putting petrol in a petrol pump! So far, this has been a great buy and I recommend it and the company who sells it.

Amazing!!!

Hi have had one of these pumps installed at 70m for 2 years now and once setup it has run flawlessly every day since. Excellent value for money and next time I need to buy a pump I will be looking at these again.

1200gpd at 80m of head
We installed this pump last year in a bore with a standing water level of 80m. It is fitted with 760watts of panels and has been doing a great job since then. We haven't had to touch it. It is delivering about 1200 gpd to a tank about 70m away. Much cheaper to install and run than a generalor and submersible.
